Professional Timber & Wood Beam Restoration

Restore the Natural Beauty of Your Timber.

Specialist in-house abrasive cleaning to remove years of paint, varnish, and grime from beams, doors, and furniture.

We specialise in transportable timber items up to 2.2m in height and 4m in width. From internal doors to structural joists that can be dropped off at our facility, we provide a uniform finish that hand-sanding simply cannot match.

Gentle Cleaning, Powerful Results.

Over time, beautiful natural timber often ends up hidden under layers of dark varnish or thick paint. Our restoration process uses specialised ‘natural’ media—such as crushed walnut shells or fine glass beads—to gently lift coatings without scouring the wood. This returns the timber to its original, natural state, ready for a fresh wax, oil, or to be left in its raw beauty.

What We Restore (In-House Only)

Located in Ossett, we are easily accessible from Junctions 39 and 40 of the M1 motorway. If you can transport your timber, we can restore it.

Existing Beams & Joists: If you are renovating and can transport your beams to our Ossett workshop, we can restore them to factory-clean condition.

Doors & External Woodwork: Stripping paint from complex door mouldings that would be impossible to sand by hand.

Furniture Restoration: Giving old tables, chairs, and cabinets a new lease on life by revealing the underlying grain.

Size Limit Note: We specialise in transportable timber items up to 2.2m in height and 4m in width. From internal doors to structural joists that can be dropped off at our facility, we provide a uniform finish that hand-sanding simply cannot match.

Items are returned to you in their raw, natural state, ready for your chosen finish, or we can manage the coating through our local specialists.

Why Abrasive Cleaning Over Sanding?

Consistency: Abrasives reach into deep cracks, grain, and ornate carvings that manual sanding cannot touch.

Speed: What takes days by hand takes hours in our 50ft blast shop.

Uniform Finish: No ‘swirl marks’ or uneven patches—just a perfectly clean, raw wood surface.

Bring Your Timber Back to Life

Don’t replace historic timber when you can restore it. Bring your wood projects to our Ossett workshop for a professional assessment and a finish that reveals the true character of the wood.
